====== New 3D Printed Enclosure ====== Sep 2026 \\ \\ {{ :micro-python.png?100 |}} ---- ===== Introduction ===== \\ Well, here it is. I did do a couple of versions of this, but this is the one I prefer, even though it is a little tricky to put together. Here is the design. \\ \\ You can download the STL file {{ :phase_2_frame_mount_pico_plus_lid.zip |HERE}}. \\ \\ \\ \\ Front View \\ {{ :phase2-case-enclosure.png?500 |}} \\ \\ Internal View \\ {{ :phase2-case-enclosure-rear-view.png?500 |}} \\ \\ Rear Panel \\ {{ :phase2-case-rear-panel.png?500 |}} \\ \\ Locator Pins (you'll need 6) \\ {{ :phase2-case-pin.png?200 |}} ---- ==== Assembly ==== \\ {{ :wifianalyzerwiring.jpeg?500 |}} \\ \\ So the hardest part is getting the pins in to the Pico. I have made the pins smaller, but you will have to glue them in, but at least they won't snap when you press them in. I would do the following: * Put the cable on the LCD Pins * Fix the LCD to the Box * Put the Pins on the Pico (take note, solder the Pico Pins on top of the unit, not the bottom) * Fix the Pico in using just the pins at the rear * The box uses brass M3x4x5 Threaded Heat Inserts. That's it, your Wifi Analyzer project should look pretty good in it's new home. \\ \\ ----
