This is a quick overview on how to add a Domain and User to MXRouting, while this is pretty simple, we will be able to get the information we need for creating some mail records on our Domain host, which is very important.

==== Add Domain ====
Login to MXRouting [[https://pixel.mxrouting.net:2222/|MXRouting]] and go to <color #ed1c24>Domain Setup</color>.

Click <color #ed1c24>Add New</color>.
\\

Enter the new Domain Name and click <color #ed1c24>Create</color>.

==== Add User ====
Now that we have created our Domain, we can add a user to it.

In MXRouting, expand the <color #ed1c24>E-Mail Manager</color> menu and select <color #ed1c24>E-Mail Accounts</color>.

Ensure that in the Top Right of the screen you have the correct <color #ed1c24>Domain</color> selected (the one you just added). Then select <color #ed1c24>Create Account</color>. There will already be a default user here called ukgreenn that you can ignore.

Click <color #ed1c24>Create Account</color>.

A confirmation box will appear to show that you have created a user and to confirm that users details.

This page also confirms your <color #ed1c24>POP/IMAP</color> and <color #ed1c24>SMTP</color> server addresses.

You can now close this page.

==== Find your DKIM Key ====
From the MXRouting web page, expand <color #ed1c24>Account Manager</color> and select <color #ed1c24>DKIM Keys</color>.

Here you can see your DKIM record. The DKIM record consists of 4 parts:
    1. The Name    -    x._domainkey
    2. The TTL     -    3600
    3. The Type    -    TXT
    4. The Value   -    This is the really long string you can see.
All of this information will be entered as a TXT Record in your domain provider (Porkbun).

==== Find your SPF Record ====
On the same page that you just saw your DKIM Key, you can also see your SPF Record.

Here you can see your SPF record. The SPF record consists of 4 parts:
    1. The Name    -    therlowe.uk (just your domain name)
    2. The TTL     -    3600
    3. The Type    -    TXT
    4. The Value   -    "v=spf1 include:mxroute.com -all"
All of this information will be entered as a TXT Record in your domain provider (Porkbun).

==== Find your DMarc Record ====
This one is not quite as simple, below is a paragraph from MXRouting regarding DMARC.

    Sometimes customers will ask us what their DMARC record should be. This question actually arises from a 
    misunderstanding of what DMARC is. The honest, quick answer is that there is no answer. Your DMARC record is 
    a choice that you either make or don’t make, and what you set it to is entirely based on your preferences and 
    needs. If you don’t know what you want a DMARC record to be, your default should be not to have one. If you 
    do want one, you have no choice but to dive in deeper into what it is because simply offering one to paste in 
    your DNS isn’t appropriate.

The simple answer is, the admin for our email server in MXRouting has generated a DMARC record, and all domains and accounts that are associated with our email server use the same DMARC record, we just change the domain listed within the record.
